Sovereign infrastructure,
from the language up.

AI and modern software run on borrowed foundations — someone else's OS, someone else's runtime, someone else's cloud — stacked in layers that nobody can optimize end to end. Saraswati Systems is building the whole stack in-house: language, data engine, AI runtime, and operating system. It starts where the hardest engineering is already done — our own compiler — and grows layer by layer into one substrate you own end to end.

130Klines of compiler, written from scratch
1,299compiler tests passing
2compilers — one written in our own language
4layers of the stack, built in-house
The thesis

Whoever owns the stack owns the speed.

Every AI company today rents its foundation — a foreign OS, a third-party runtime, a hyperscaler's cloud — stacked in layers no single team can see across, let alone optimize. That means no control over cost, no control over performance, and no control over the supply chain underneath the most strategic software on earth.

We believe the answer is sovereignty by construction: build every layer yourself, from the kernel to the model, so nothing between your code and the silicon is borrowed. The language comes first — it is the one layer every other layer is written in. Own it, and you can optimize across the whole stack at once, and no one can pull the floor out from under you.

“The framework is eating the software. We give it back to whoever owns the machine.”
  • Language first. The compiler is the foundation every other layer is built on — so we built it first, and we build the rest in it.
  • Independence by construction. Own every layer — no vendor lock-in, no foreign supply chain, no rent extraction.
  • One substrate for any workload. AI, databases, or systems software — all on the same stack, from silicon to intelligence.
The stack

Four layers. Built in-house, in order.

Language first, because every other layer is written in it. Status shown honestly: what runs today, what's in progress, and what's in design.

01 · Language Working

mylang ʟ-1

Our own systems language, compiled to native code. Designed for C-class speed with compile-time safety checks.

enum Shape { Circle(i32), Rect(i32, i32) }

fn area(s: Shape) -> i32 {
    match s {
        Shape::Circle(r) -> r * r * 3,
        Shape::Rect(w, h) -> w * h,
    }
}

fn main() {
    println(area(Shape::Rect(3, 4)))  // 12
}
  • 1,299 compiler tests passing
  • Benchmarked: matches C on 3 of 5 programs, 6–74× faster than Python
02 · Data engine Working

Universal data engine

One multi-model database beneath every workload — row, column, time-series, blob, and vector in a single engine, built for AI workloads.

  • 5 storage models, including vector search
  • ~495 tests passing
03 · AI runtime In progress

AI & GPU runtime

Models and GPU kernels built in-house, from first principles — no borrowed framework underneath.

  • Training and serving on our own kernels
04 · Operating system In design

UFOS Fabric

A secure operating-system kernel, designed to be written entirely in our own language.

  • Core components written and tested in mylang
  • Next milestone: booting on real hardware
Roadmap

Where the stack goes next.

Each milestone is a demo, not a slide.

Now

Production-ready language

mylang ready to build our own OS and products on, benchmarked against C, Rust and Python.

Next

Boot the kernel

A UFOS kernel, written entirely in mylang, booting on real hardware.

Then

Unify the stack

Data engine and AI runtime running natively on UFOS — one substrate, owned end to end.

Why own it

Owning every layer is the moat.

Because the layers are built in-house, they compound — each one makes the next faster and cheaper to build, and harder to replicate from the outside.

Speed

Optimized across layers

When one team owns the language, runtime and kernel, it can optimize across all of them at once — from scheduling to tensor kernels.

Independence

No vendor, no lock-in

Built to remove dependence on foreign clouds and third-party frameworks. Deploy on your own silicon, on-prem or air-gapped.

Leverage

One stack, any workload

AI, databases, or systems software — one substrate to learn, secure and maintain.

The raise

Independent infrastructure is a generational bet.
We're looking for the right partners.

The compiler works and is tested. The data engine runs. The AI stack trains on our own kernels. The OS is designed and taking shape in our own language. We're raising to unify these layers into one platform — the fast, independent foundation for AI and every system after it. If you back deep, patient, category-defining infrastructure, we'd like to talk.
